AI is transforming every industry in fundamental ways, and generative AI specifically is adopted at record pace. The use of AI does present significant risks though in the form of trustworthy systems that are void of privacy concerns and present fair, reliable and transparent results. This can lead to biased results, unfair decisions, and security concerns.
During this session, we will dive into the aspects of a responsible AI strategy framework that touches on the operational aspects, the regulatory implications, and internal motivating factors for trustworthy AI systems. You will leave with a comprehensive overview of AI governance and actionable next steps to implement in your AI journey.
- Learning Objective 1: What should be considered in creating you Responsible AI Governance Framework.
- Learning Objective 2: How do external pressures and internal motivators regarding AI influence governance.
- Learning Objective 3: Which factors should be addressed in operational governance of AI systems and practical considerations.

This session will transform the way we think about data demos. If you've ever found yourself cycling through the same old datasets, like the ever-present sports equipment data, this is the refreshing change you've been waiting for. We're stepping into a new era where the creation of professional demo datasets is not just innovative but also kinda fun!
In this engaging workshop, we'll harness the power of free AI tools to design a unique Data Warehouse from the ground up using Microsoft Fabric. Forget the limitations of pre-existing datasets; we're here to show you how to generate the interconnected random code for everything you need - from company names and locations to detailed dimensions and interconnected fact tables. The process is designed to be easy to follow, ensuring you'll have the skills to use this tool effectively for years to come.
But that's not all - we'll take the excitement one step further by bringing our custom data to life with a quick Semantic Model & Modern Power BI report. This hands-on experience will not only showcase the potential of your new data warehouse but also highlight the creative freedom it offers. Say goodbye to the days of generic sports equipment demos, unless, of course, that's what you're into! This session promises a blend of fun and learning, equipping you with the basics and beyond for building a data warehouse that's as unique as your needs. We'll even generate company logos on the fly! Plus, you'll leave with all the scripts and prompts used during the demo, ensuring you can recreate the magic on your own.
Join us for a unique journey into the future of data warehousing, where creativity meets functionality, and discover a tool that will enhance your demos and reports for years to come.

The Microsoft Power Platform is fantastic for rapid application development and data collection. Often, there is a need to integrate data from Power Apps into an Analytics platform to enrich existing data, improving analysis capabilities. In this session we will work through an example scenario of integrating the data from a Power App into Fabric and then using Power BI to analyze the data. We will use Synapse Link to integrate Dataverse with Fabric and see how to manage the connection. Once the data is in a Fabric Lakehouse, we will manipulate the data to be more useful for analysis and combine it with data from another source. A Power BI report will be created to surface the combined data, highlighting the power of the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform. Finally, we will provide the transformed data back to Dataverse, allowing our Power App users to see and interact with the enriched / transformed data.
We will focus on a few specific business use cases like creating custom data categorizations. For example, managing custom AR/AP aging buckets and KPI targets. However, the concept supports near limitless options to capture data and incorporate it into reporting.
This will be a technical session showcasing the steps and configuration required to activate the necessary integrations, as well as highlighting some of the best practices and troubleshooting steps for managing the environment. You will walk away with the confidence to set up the same capability in your own environment to further explore the value it can provide to your organization.
